23:30 to 02:15 next day is 2:45. After a 30-minute break, the result is 2:15, or 2.25 decimal hours.
1:45 + 2:30 = 4:15. Decimal hours use base 10: 1.5 hours is 1:30, not 1:50. Decimal input rounds to the nearest second.
Equal clock readings mean zero on the same day or 24 hours with Next day selected. This tool does not calculate wages or legal working-time rules.
